An overview of me

My name is Steven Andrew Moore. I come from a family of four of which I am the second oldest. Whether it is sports or just hiking I love the outdoors. I play Ultimate Frisbee, and soccer, Ran Track and field, threw discus and shot put, and competed in dive team. I also am an active participant in local scout troops and have helped organize and run camps for the boys in this district. The camp I would love the most s a  survival camp. The boys get a knife, some string, and a compass. Then we leave them up in the mountains. I enjoy those sorts of camps.

  1. I think it is pretty cool that you like Boy Scouts and survival camps. It would be cool to learn about how to survive then get sent out into the woods to see how long you could last with out any help. I probably wouldn’t last long but it would be fun trying.

  2. You sound like a very interesting person Steven! I don't think I would be able to camp with a knife, string, and a compass! Are all of these camps through the boy scouts? I’m sure all of the scouts love you. You should visit Lake Tahoe. They've got some awesome camping places there that you might like. Ultimate Frisbee is one of the best games I've ever played. I wonder if there is an intramural team?? I want to be on it. I can’t believe you were on the dive team. I’ve seen diving on TV before and it seems very difficult.

  3. I have been to lake Tahoe but only for one night. It was very beautiful there. I love Ultimate Frisbee, I started clubs in two of my schools, and there is an inter-mural team at BYU. They have already started there regular season and I don't think they are accepting any more team entries. What you should do for next year is get a team together and split the cost for the team, which I think is about 5 bucks a head. Then you sign up and try out. You will get in but the try out is for placing you in a specific division. I loved diving! I started my freshmen year and made it to the state finals. I was going to keep diving but I moved down to Utah were they do not have diving teams so I couldn't pursue it.
